Byer Planning was contracted by a land management group to develop a wayfinding map for the Graphite Range Community Forest trail system located in Wilton, NY. This project included using existing trail route data to develop a highly-stylized wayfinding map to be placed on informational kiosks throughout the trail system. This map was developed using both ESRI Arc Pro as well as Adobe Illustrator to create an accurate, informative, and aesthetically pleasing map for trail users. Byer Planning worked closely with the project advisory committee to ensure the map accomplished the goal of orienting trail users while incorporating the trail system’s branding guidelines.
